Our Company

CardWare International, a division of Thirteen Inc, is a multi-faceted company providing
a broad array of products and services to the electronic transaction industry.  Serving primarily businesses that accept card-type products and checks as payment, CardWare’s products and services have been adapted for use in many other industries.

History

Founded in 1975 as Imprinter Sales & Service to focus on the sale and repair of imprinters,
the company incorporated the following year as Thirteen Inc. 

The sale, installation and service of bankcard point of sale electronics were added in 1983.
A second division, The Supply Department, came on line in 1988 to address the bankcard equipment and supply distribution needs of the banks to whom we were providing imprinters
and point of sale equipment.

The ongoing industry evolution necessitated that Imprinter Sales & Service and
The Supply Department update its name and scope.  CardWare International premiered
in July of 2000 to demonstrate the company’s increased range of products and services
directed toward its core clientele, companies that sell and support transaction acquiring
services, financial institutions, associations and Independent Sales Organizations (ISO).
